What’s in the picture
Ginger-O, the big sister, is searching with a magnifying glass. Mang-O, her little brother, is checking along the stepping-stone path. Around them are a garden arch, a bench, a watering can, ginger flowers and big potted plants. Ten mangoes are hidden in the scene, some in plain sight and some tucked into the leaves.
How to use it
Print the page on plain paper with black ink. Ask your child to circle each mango as they find it and count out loud to ten. When all ten are found, color the garden in. Crayons and colored pencils both work well, and the big open shapes are easy for small hands.
What children practice
Hidden-picture pages are a quiet way to practice looking carefully, counting to ten and telling one shape from another. Younger children can hunt with a grown-up. Older children can race to find all ten on their own.
